Sandbox VR, which provides location-based virtual reality experiences, launched a new venue in Surrey, BC, Canada.

The new venue is slated to open on Feb. 13 and will be the company’s seventh location in Canada.

The venue will boast three private rooms that can cater up to six guests. The site will also provide unique VR experiences through headsets, haptic vests, and motion sensors to provide full-body immersion.

By the end of the activity, guests will be sent highlight videos of their experience.

“We are thrilled to continue our expansion across Canada,” said Steve Zhao, CEO and Founder of Sandbox VR. “This new venue reflects the growing demand for immersive entertainment experiences enjoyed with friends, and we’re excited to add Surrey to our growing global footprint.”

The Sandbox experiences are built by a team of developers from EA, Sony and Ubisoft.

The new site will offer ten immersive titles, Stranger Things: Catalyst, Rebel Moon: The Descent, Deadwood PHOBIA, Deadwood Valley, Deadwood Mansion, Squid Game Virtuals, Seekers of the Shard: Dragonfire, Curse of Davy Jones, Amber Sky 2088, and UFL: Unbound Fighting League.

Sandbox currently has locations in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Vaughan and two in Montreal, serving around 150,000 players on a monthly basis.
